The beautiful finished gazebo will be a protected space to host training meetings, youth groups and visiting teams. It has quickly became the place to hang out!

Farmer's Training

We continue with our bi-monthly farmer's training. My agronomists do a great job of teaching new skills and encouraging the farmers.

Paver-stone Walkways

I love paver stones and thought they were an impossibility in Haiti. But God knows the desires of my heart, even on insignificant matters. My contractor found some and at a fraction of the cost of cement. I am blessed!

Planting last February...

The 2' seedlings, allowed us to plant our vegetable garden in between the trees. But not anymore! Almost every part of my land is covered in trees and gardens, being an example of how to use your yard for food.

...10 months later

In 10 months this garden grew into a jungle. I will never cease to be amazed at how fast trees grow here! We are able to sell papayas almost every day!

Training with Mulch

We hauled in dozens of loads of bagas (sugar cane stalks) to be used as mulch under our trees. Great example of using resources for fertilizer, rain collection, and weed extermination.

Our nursery is filled with 10,000 seedlings. Since hearing of the devastation caused by Hurricane Matthew, we decided to help our fellow farmers. And we need your help!

April 7th-16th, a team of 7 Americans and 3 Haitians will be transporting these trees to Jeremie and Duchity in the southern peninsula. We will do trainings on reforestation and give away these trees. We have partnered with local organizations who will help us monitor the care of the trees. We are excited to have this opportunity and are asking you to partner with us to make this happen. Donations can be made below. Be sure to label 'tree giveaway'.

I can hardly believe the transformation in the past 2 years. I couldn't have done it without your prayers and support. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!

I have been stateside since Christmas and am currently Granny-nannying for little Kate until Abby finishes this school year. My heart is torn between two places that I love. A friend told me there is nothing wrong with loving and being loved by people in both places. I ask for your prayers as I discern the future plan that God has for me.
