Coins for Capron

Student Council’s first project was a huge success, raising $1,238 for Capron Park Zoo! We are proud of our students and their commitment to our community. Thank you to all that helped with the project.

Attleboro High School Theatre Performance

AHS Drama Club will be performing for students on Friday, November 3rd at Studley. The name of the play is The Prince Who Wouldn't Talk, and it tells the story of a King and Queen who discover that their son, the Prince, will not talk. They haven't yet realized that they've never given him the chance! The Prince has lost his confidence and is afraid to speak. The play is both amusing and thought-provoking, and it conveys an important theme about finding one's voice.

Attleboro Public Library

APS has partnered with the Attleboro Public Library for Attleboro READS! Reading events are planned with various community partners throughout the school year. Students are encouraged to attend and “fill in the passports” that were sent home. Any student who fills their passport will be recognized at the summer reading kickoff in June. For more information, visit the Attleboro Public Library website.

October Spirit Day

On Tuesday, October 31st, Studley will be having a DRESS UP Spirit Day. Students are encouraged to wear any of the following:
  • fall colors
  • Studley wear
  • costumes

Costumes should follow these guidelines for a successful day:

  • Students must be able to move easily and participate in all school activities. (This includes going to the bathroom).
  • Students' faces must be visible (no masks).
  • Only clothes - no additional props.
  • Costumes must be school appropriate (non-violent, full coverage, etc.)
  • Weapons of any kind are not allowed.

From the Nurse

Hello from the Studley Health Office!

We will soon begin the Massachusetts State Mandated Health Screenings. All health screenings conducted are required by law and these screenings are ongoing throughout the school year. Parents and legal guardians may request, in writing, that their child not participate in the program. This request must be written each year and be specific to which screening you do not wish for your child to participate. The elementary school screenings are as follow:

Vision Screening

Vision screenings are conducted for all grades, kindergarten through fourth grade. Parents/guardians will be notified if the student does not pass and referred to their physician for follow-up.

Hearing Screening

Hearing screenings are conducted for grades kindergarten through third grade. Parents/guardians are notified if the student does not pass and referred to their physician for follow-up.

Growth Development Screening

Growth screenings are conducted for students in grades one and four. Heights and weights are measured and calculated into BMI or body mass index.

If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Student Handbook

Please log into ASPEN and sign off on the student handbook for your child. Please review the directions below if you need support with the ASPEN task. Once completed, our office staff will complete the process.
