2026 Levy Referendum
Our Students Deserve Every Opportunity
District 622 students are talented, hardworking, and full of potential. Our graduation rates are higher than the state average, even as our district operates with significantly less funding than neighboring districts.
Despite these challenges, our staff and students continue to rise to the occasion every single day. Our mission is to inspire lifelong learners who thrive — and our students deserve the same class sizes, programs, and support as students in neighboring communities.
District 622 makes decisions that benefit students, families, and the community, while protecting taxpayer resources. The proposed operating levy referendum on the Nov. 3 ballot is an opportunity to invest in a thriving future for every student in our district. If approved, it would provide $800 per pupil each year for the next 10 years. For a median home valued at $350,000, the monthly property tax increase would be $21 per month starting in 2027.
