The Weekly Update #4
August 23rd, 2026
Week in Review
We are off to a great start at Hector Elementary School! Here’s a quick look at just a few of the great things that happened during Week 1.3 (1st nine weeks, 3rd week of school)!
- Beginning-of-Year Testing Complete: Students in grades K–3 wrapped up screener and beginning-of-year testing last week. We have a few students who still need to complete testing, but overall, everything went very well!
- Home Game Welcome: Our HHS Football Team and Cheerleading Squad came down Friday morning to welcome our littles to school! They even stuck around through breakfast to make sure every student had the opportunity to receive a special good-morning welcome. We loved having our older Wildcats on campus!
- PAWS & Applause: We celebrated our first PAWS & Applause on Friday afternoon! Students who receive a “Caught Showing Your PAWS” card from their teacher earn a special Friday visit from the principal to celebrate their PAWSitive attitude and behavior from the week. 🐾🎉
