📚 MAP Growth Testing Begins Next Week! 🧠
Next week, our students will begin their first MAP Growth assessment of the year. This is the first of three testing sessions we’ll have throughout the school year. While this isn’t a high-stakes test, it’s an important tool that helps us monitor what students know and how they’re growing academically.
✨ That’s why we want to encourage all students to do their best! ✨
You can help set your child up for success by:
Making sure they get a good night’s sleep 💤
Providing nutritious meals to fuel their brains 🍎
Encouraging positive thinking and confidence 💬
Helping them arrive on time ⏰
Thanks for partnering with us to support your child’s learning journey. Let’s help them shine! 🌟
No School Monday Sept. 1. We hope you have a great long weekend.
We will see you back at school on Tuesday.
KAES WOW: Who are you?
This year we are asking the question who are you? We have to answer that question by realizing that our identity is based in the immeasurable love of God, NOT in what we do or how well we perform! Our key theme text is I John 3:1-2. Here we learned that we are called children of God. Students discovered that we are children of God for two reasons: 1) We were made in his image to reflect His glory, and 2) We were adopted back into His family when Jesus paid the price for us at the cross. So we are doubly His children! The world does not know us, just like it did not know Jesus. But Jesus is coming soon, and we learned that in order to attend His heavenly banquet feast we must be part of the family of God and have an identity as children of God by choice.
🎉 Middle School Class Scramble Success! 🎉
Middle school had an awesome time at the Class Scramble! Each class brought the energy—decked out in their class colors, running hard, and scrambling to find all the right items.
But what really made this event special? The amazing school spirit on full display—not just cheering for their own teams, but helping other classes when they were missing items. That’s the kind of KAES spirit we love to see!
In the end, a huge shoutout goes to our 7th grade class, who took home the School Spirit Trophy! It will proudly sit with them... at least until the next event.
Way to go, Middle School—keep that spirit shining!
KAES Home and School leaders
We are thrilled to introduce and welcome Whitney and Justin Bowyer as our new Home and School leaders! They're stepping into the leadership spotlight to help guide this amazing, active, and totally awesome Home and School organization—but here’s the deal: they can’t do it alone!
That’s where YOU come in! Whether you’ve got a knack for organizing, baking, decorating, cheering loudly, or just love being part of the action—we’d love to have your energy and talents in the mix.
Want to get involved? Feel like KAES Home and School is calling your name?
