Principal's Message
Good Evening Yowell Families, this is Mrs. Fiscus with your weekly update!
Our fall fundraiser is underway, and we are making progress toward our goal! Each homeroom earns $100 to spend in their classroom once they reach $1,000 raised. A big shoutout to Mrs. Sodano’s class for being the first to reach that milestone — way to go, 4th graders! We still have another week to work toward our overall goal, and we know the holiday weekend slowed us down, but together we can make it happen. Thank you to everyone who has already chipped in to support our school! 💙
A quick reminder — please make sure you are calling the office when your child is home sick or absent. Each family has 10 parent calls to use at your discretion. If you go to the doctor, dentist, or therapist, be sure to grab a note, as those absences do not count toward your 10 parent calls.
Our Yearbook Cover Contest is officially underway! This year’s theme is “Adventure Awaits”, and we can’t wait to see the creativity our students bring to life.

Transportation Information
In an effort to assist schools and parents with current information about bus changes, transportation has added a new item on their website called: Transportation - Morning Update. The direct link can be found here. Also, this is the direct link to transportation.
Parents of students Pre-K through Grade 3 are expected to meet their children at the bus stop. Failure to do so will result in the child(ren) being returned to school. Should you choose to allow your child(ren) to be dropped off without supervision in the afternoon, please fill out and return this document.
We will be posting departure times for buses each day to assist parents with receiving their child from the bus stop. Please check this document each afternoon.

School Resource Officer (SRO)
We are happy to have a School Resource Officer (SRO) this year at Yowell. You can contact Deputy Brandon Mack with any concerns you have with school safety or anything that would be related to criminal activity.
