So Much to Celebrate!

As we wrap up another school year, I hope you have a fun and restful summer and it gives opportunities to reconnect and recharge. I've said it before, and it remains true: time is either a gift or a thief, depending on how we choose to spend it. Spend it wisely this summer.

Here at GCHS, we have much to be proud of, accomplishments big and small. I'll be highlighting some of them in this newsletter, along with a reflection on the GCHS School Improvement Goals. And a few things to look ahead to next year.

All the Best to You and Yours,

Mrs. Shannon

Looking Ahead to 25-26

  • GCHS is dedicated to partnering with students and families to improve attendance.
  • There is a strong correlation between attendance and academic achievement. When students are present, they are in a position to succeed.
  • Improving attendance will directly impact the academic goals of students and our building.
  • In preparing students for post-secondary plans, whether that is career or college, developing good attendance habits set young adults up for success.
