PBIS Update
Our Staff Spirit Showdown culminated it a fun face off during today's all school assembly! 8 staff members engaged in tournament style play, cheered on by our Lilja Lions.
We hope your students enjoyed this event as much as we did, and learned about Respect, winning with grace, losing with style, and learning that having fun is the real goal!

We Need Your Feedback!
Dear Lilja Families,
This year we have implemented a schoolwide Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) framework. PBIS is designed to create a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment by explicitly teaching expectations, reinforcing positive behavior, and responding to challenges in a consistent and instructional manner through shared language and values.
The purpose of this survey is to gather family feedback on:
Your child’s experience with PBIS at school
The clarity and effectiveness of school communication related to PBIS
The extent to which our school values and expectations are understood and reflected at home
Your feedback is essential. It will help us assess how well PBIS is being implemented, identify areas of strength, and guide continuous improvement to better support students and families.
Please complete the survey HERE.
We are so grateful for your partnership, and look forward to your partnership as we continue to reflect and refine our PBIS systems!

Report on Student Progress (ROSP)
On January 30th, 2026 at 3pm each student will have a ROSP available for viewing and printing in PowerSchool.
This report provides information about your student's progress toward grade level standards that they are expected to achieve by the end of the school year. It is therefore expected that students will be "Beginning" or "Progressing" rather than "Meeting" at this time of year.
Instructions for viewing your student's report can be found here.
Things To Know
REMINDER: COLD WEATHER GEAR:
As the weather finally makes a turn please help your children remember to bring cold weather gear to school. Some of our first recesses are early in the morning when it is still chilly enough to wear jackets. It's a good idea to dress in layers as some of the afternoon recesses can be much warmer than bus stop temperatures in the morning. Better to have the jacket and not need it then be too cold outside!
