CHIPS Weekly Update

We hope you will join us for our Open House, which is scheduled from 5:30-7:00 on Thursday, November 17th. Please refer to the schedule sent by your child's teacher for their specific classroom visit time. We ask that you visit your child's classroom at the assigned time to avoid overcrowding. Also, please note that parking is limited.

Open House is a time to visit your child's classroom with them and see some of the fun things they've been doing and learning. It is NOT a time for a conference with your child's teacher. Conferences will be held later in the school year.

The CHIPS PTO will be holding a Bake Sale and selling tickets for the Basket Raffle during open house. Please plan on visiting the PTO in the main lobby before or after you visit your child's classroom.

• November 17- CHIPS Open House 5:30-7:00 p.m.
• November 23-25- No School- Thanksgiving Recess

The CHIPS PTO will be holding a Basket Raffle and Bake Sale during the CHIPS Open House on November 17th. Both the raffle and bake sale are fundraisers that help the PTO bring enrichments to CHIPS for our students. The PTO is looking for volunteers to donate baked goods, set up, clean up, sell tickets and baked goods during Open House. If you are interested in helping out, please see the sign up link below. Please note that children are not permitted to help while parents are volunteering. Thank you for your support!

Though the weather has been simply beautiful, the viruses keep finding their way to stick around. If your child or is not feeling well, please remember "When in doubt, Please stay out". Give an extra day of wellness or rest (at least 24 hours fever free without the use of medication) as sickness takes its toll on our little ones. Please reach out to your family practitioner for a thorough assessment if symptoms are not improving. If you are in need of assistance finding healthcare, please notify the School Nurse or our Social Worker, Ann Wheeler for help doing so. We are here to help in any way.

We have a supply of rapid COVID test kits available for families. If you need a COVID test kit, please contact the CHIPS main office. Test kits must be picked up by parents. We cannot send them home in backpacks.

Please use our absence line (978-251-5188 Option 0) to report your child's absence from school and be sure to state the reason for the absence (illness, appointment, travel, etc).
