Building Leaders of Tomorrow
From the Principal's pen...
We had a blast last week celebrating the 100th Day of School here at Jack! Our youngest grade levels had a variety of activities from dressing up to making necklaces with 100 beads. Some of our older grade levels tied the activity to instruction by having their Leaders write about what they think their legacy would look like in 100 years!
As we approach February we have some special events, including Valentine's Day parties and our annual lunch with a Loved One accompanied by our Book Fair. We hope you can make it for a visit.
Also, this week, Mrs. Boyd will be sending home some Habit homework. In our January at-home connection, she included information about Family Big Rocks. The links below take you to some videos to make the connections:

Be on the lookout for a copy coming home, where we want to learn about your Big Rocks and make the connection of Leader in Me to our families!
Have a great week and we look forward to serving,
Brett Shelby
