MMS Update
Week of October 27th, 2025
Spirit Week!
Greetings MMS Families,
Friday night’s Halloween Dance was such a blast! It was wonderful to see so many smiling faces enjoying themselves and celebrating together at MMS. Our students have worked incredibly hard throughout the first quarter, and it was the perfect way to reward their commitment with some well-deserved fun. As we approach the end of our first marking period this Friday, please continue encouraging students to finish the quarter strong. Congratulations to both our boys and girls soccer teams on winning their first playoff games! We wish them the best of luck as they continue chasing their championship goals this week!
Thank you all for a wonderful first quarter, have a great week!

October Reading Challenge
October is here, and it’s the perfect month to get a little spooky! We’re inviting students and their families to dive into mysteries, thrillers, supernatural stories, or just plain scary books. From creepy ghost tales to puzzling mysteries, there’s a story for everyone who loves a good thrill!
How the challenge works:
Choose and read a book that fits the spooky theme—alone or together as a family.
Each entry counts as a chance to win prizes in our October Reading Contest!
This October, explore the chills, thrills, and mysteries that books have to offer—whether you’re reading solo or sharing the story with family. Who knows what surprises lurk between the pages!

Dismissal/Visiting Procedures
In our ongoing effort to increase school security, we have the following procedures when parents/guardians come to our school during school hours. Thank you all for your understanding.
Dismissal - If dismissing a student, we ask that an authorized dismissing parent/guardian show their ID in the foyer, and then wait in that location for the dismissed student to meet you.
Dropping off items - If a parent/guardian is dropping off an item for a student, we ask that they leave it in the designated area in the foyer.
Visiting the school - If parents/guardians are arriving for a scheduled meeting, we ask that they show their ID in the foyer and then sign in at the main office to receive a visitor pass.
