Asiya Ahmed
Ms. Ahmed joined District 41 and began attending Hadley Junior High School last school year as a seventh grader. She previously attended Glen Crest Middle School in District 89. At Hadley she plays violin in the orchestra and in her free time she enjoys tennis, running and golf. “I have a lot to contribute and I hope to uphold the goals and values of Hadley Junior High as a student board member,” said Ms. Ahmed.

Blake Noble
Ms. Noble has been a student in District 41 since kindergarten. She attended Lincoln Elementary from K-4 and then completed her elementary education at Benjamin Franklin School. Ms. Noble loves school and participates in a variety of clubs at Hadley. In her free time she spends time reading, practicing yoga, and spending time with family and friends. "I look forward to being a voice at the Board table to advocate for all students in District 41 and their interests,” said Ms. Noble.

The role of student Board members is to provide advisory input to the District 41 Board of Education. As student members, they have the unique ability to represent the student voice during Board conversations and decisions. Student Board members will not be voting members of the Board and they will not have access to confidential information.

The students will be installed at the March 8 regular meeting of the Glen Ellyn School District 41 Board of Education.

Congratulations, to Ms. Ahmed and Ms. Noble. Welcome to the Board of Education!
