Letter from Our Principal
Dear LPS Families,
We have had a great short week! Your child’s report card will be posted in Ascender today. If you need assistance accessing it, please contact Jeni Grissom at jgrissom@lpsfrisco.com.
The second nine weeks will fly by! Please encourage your child to stay on top of assignments, check grades regularly, and ask teachers for help when needed. Building these habits now will help our students finish the semester strong.
Thank you for your continued partnership as we help our students learn, grow, and lead. We hope you enjoy the cooler weather and spend some time relaxing with your family this weekend!
With Lion Heart and Strength of Mind,
Wendy Craft
Lunch Reminders
To help us protect instructional time and ensure students receive their lunches efficiently, please follow these lunch drop-off guidelines:
Food must arrive before your student’s designated lunch period begins. Late food deliveries will not be distributed to students. This includes Door Dash.
Clearly label all food with your student’s name and designated lunch period. This helps us get each lunch to the correct student.
Students will not be called out of class to pick up food. Students are responsible for picking up their lunch in the lunchroom during their scheduled lunch period.
Food will only be distributed during the student’s scheduled lunch period. We will not interrupt classroom instruction to deliver food. Any exception must be approved by Ms. Craft.
Will your child be absent?
This is a one stop shop! You can report your child's absence and upload doctor notes.
REMINDER: If you have any questions or concerns regarding your child’s attendance, please reach out directly to your child’s teacher via email and copy secondaryattendance@lpsfriso.com. If an attendance record needs to be corrected, the teacher must submit a form to request the change. Please be aware that attendance corrections must be requested within 3 days, so it is important to contact the teacher as soon as possible.
Thank you with your attention and cooperation!
