ARRIVAL & DISMISSAL PROCEDURES

Arrival

To ensure social distancing and accommodate the beginning of school (7:45 a.m.), we will continue having two drop off sites (see graphic below). When students enter the building they will be seated in the hallway outside their classroom. Students are tardy at 7:45 a.m. Please do not drop off students before 7:30 AM.

Dismissal

At he end of each day students will be dismissed from the back hallway. In order to do this we need your help! Below are our procedures for picking up your child.

Car Riders will be dismissed at 3:00 PM: All car riders will be picked up by the last doors on the East side of the school. Everyone must remain in their cars. Please do not walk up to the doors of the school to pick up your child when children are exiting the building. Each family will receive two car tags. Additional or replacement car tags will be $2.00 each. These will be ready for pick up on August 12th Pop in Party or sent home on the first day of school with the oldest child in the family.

NOTE: Families will have one car tag for the family this year.

Bus Riders will be dismissed at 3:00 PM: The buses will pick up and drop off in the back of the building.

Please help us keep everyone safe by following social distancing guidelines.

CAR TAGS are REQUIRED

New tags will be ready for distribution on August 12th at the Pop in Party. You can pick these up at the tent of the oldest child in your family. Those not picked up on August 12th will be given to the oldest child in the family on the first day they come to school. After that time, all parents must use the new tags. Each family will be assigned a number which will be placed on the tag. We cannot group non-familial students who are riding together. It this will be a reoccurring process, please be sure to purchase an extra tag in the office for $2.

Please call the office prior to 2:00, if someone else is coming to pick up your child. They will need to bring ID and follow the directions for Early Check In/Out. The car tags will serve for this purpose as well.

All parents or guardians must display the new car tags when they enter the school driveway. Please put them on your rear view mirror so the staff person sending the staff supervising the car riders can see them easily.

Starting the second week of school, we will only be using the new car tags like one in the picture below. ANYONE WHO COMES TO PICK UP A STUDENT WITHOUT THE NEW CAR TAG MUST GO TO THE FRONT OFFICE. A SCHOOL EMPLOYEE CAN CHECK YOUR ID AND PRINT A NEW TAG FOR YOU. All available staff will be working the dismissal line, so they may not be available right away to go get a new tag for you. This will delay the time it takes for you to pick up your child, so please remember your tags.

Additional or replacement car tags will be $2.00 each.
