• Kindergarten Open House - Wednesday August 26th - 9:30 - 11:00 am
• WP Open House - Tuesday, September 1st - 4:00 - 6:00 pm

SEPTEMBER:

• First Student Day - Wednesday, September 2nd
• PTA Ice Cream Social - Friday, September 18th - 5:30 - 7:00 pm

Reminder: Our Kindergarten Open House is intended for incoming kindergarten students and their immediate family or caregiver. Due to limited staff availability and space, we kindly ask that siblings and extended family members not attend. Thank you for your understanding and support as we work to create a welcoming and manageable experience for all!

• 9:30 - Arrival of Families and Kindergarten Students
• 9:30-9:50 - Classroom Visit/Supply Drop Off
• 9:50-10:10 - School Tour
• 10:10-10:40 - Students meet with Admin and 5th Grade Students; Families/Caregivers Meet with Classroom Teacher
• 10:40-11:00 - Bus Tour, Bus Safety
• 11:00- Conclusion of Event

• Who: 🍎 UPK, 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5
• When: 🕓 4:00 - 6:00 pm - True "Open House" Format; UPK will receive small group times (coming soon).
• Where:🏫 Winchester Potters Elementary School
• What:📝 Grades 1-5 - There will be two teacher meet and greet presentations/supply drop off times at 4:15 p.m. and 5:15 p.m.
  • UPK: Specific times will be sent via mail for small group orientations.
• Only one session needs to be attended per student - this will allow for flexibility for families with multiple students in our building.
• Teacher meet and greet/overviews will provide specific information on grade level expectations, classroom communication methods and give you an opportunity to learn about your student’s teacher.
