Prescription Medication

If your student requires prescription medication at school, please ensure we have an updated Prescription Medication Authorization form on file.

  • After discussing as an administrative team, and to align with the practice of other schools in our district, we have made the decision to not allow outside delivery services to deliver food to our students during the school day. Students caught leaving campus and/or propping a door open will receive consequences including ISS (in-school suspension).

Stopfinder for 2026-27!

Starting with the 2025-2026 school year, the WSD implemented a new app called Stopfinder for all bus-riding families. The app will be parents’ and guardians’ only source of transportation notifications, providing them with more accurate and timely communication.

If you want to know about bus delays or the estimated arrival time of your child’s bus, you must download and use the Stopfinder app. We will no longer send late bus notifications via text or email.

What Stopfinder Offers:

  • View your student’s daily transportation assignments, including transfer trips and stops.

  • Securely share your student’s schedule with caregivers or other family members.
  • Receive notifications and updates related to transportation.
  • Receive real-time vehicle location notifications based on GeoAlert regions.

Important Access Information:

Access to student schedules in Stopfinder will be granted only to the student's primary contacts #1 and #2 as listed in Focus. These primary contacts can then share the schedule with others as needed.

If you do not receive an email invitation to register for Stopfinder in August or if you have any questions regarding your student’s schedule, please complete the Transportation Assistance Form or contact the transportation department at 636-327-3860.

Learn more about Stopfinder features or visit stopfinder.com.

The WSD plans to host the 15th Annual Back to School Fair for District families on Saturday, August 15, from 8-11 a.m. at Liberty High School. The event is intended to get school supplies in the hands of WSD students who need them the most.

The event is free for District families and will feature dozens of vendors, free school supplies, games and fun activities for children. At last year's event, we distributed over $10,000 worth of school supplies to WSD students. In addition, MOChip will be on hand to provide free child identification kits.

While the event is free, families are encouraged to bring a non-perishable food item to donate to Operation Food Search, which serves local families in need. For more information, visit the WSD website:
