Annual Student Verification

Online Annual Student Verification forms for the upcoming school year is now available! This process replaces the paper forms sent home at the beginning of each school year. You will use the PowerSchool Parent Portal to access the Registration. Must be done through the website, not mobile app.

All returning families must complete this each year for each of their students!

How do I get started?
Login into your PowerSchool Parent Portal.

Select the student you wish to register from the blue header.
Select the Annual Student Verification Icon on the lower left side.
If you see access online forms with two options: New to PowerSchool Enrollment (left side of screen) AND Link your PowerSchool Enrollment account (right side of screen) ..DO NOT click "Sign In" to link your PowerSchool Enrollment account.
If this is the first time you are entering your parent portal account, then you will need to check the box "To comply with COPPA, I affirm that I am 13 years or older." (Agree to the terms and conditions)

I can’t remember my login for the PowerSchool Parent Portal. If you need a password reset or an account created, email powerschool.support@westside66.net with the full name(s) of children(s) and school(s) they attend. DO NOT try to create an account.

Do I have to answer all the questions?
Required questions are marked as "Required".

What if I need to change some information?
If you would like to make a change, click on the underlined field or click “Prev” to return to a previous page. If you need to change information after you have submitted the form, please email the changes to powerschool.support@westside66.net.

I’ve completed the form, now what?
When you have finished entering your information, click “Submit.” This will send all of the information you’ve entered to the school. If you cannot click on this button, you will need to make sure that you have answered all required questions.

What if I have more than one student at Westside Community Schools?
Do I need to do this for each child? Yes, because you’ll need to provide information that is specific for each child. We recommend that you submit one Annual Student Verification and then start another – this will allow you to “import” shared family information, which will save you time. Go back to your PowerSchool Parent Portal, click on next child's name, then click on the icon again.

Important Information from the Health Office

Health Information for 26-27 School Year:

Exam forms, Emergency Action Plans, Vaccine records and other needed documentation can be emailed to Sarah Ocken (Ocken.Sarah@westside66.net) or faxed to WMS 402-390-6454 as you get them completed for next school year.
Emergency Action Plans (Asthma, Allergy, Seizures) are valid for a full calendar year. Please provide updated plans to the Health Office when available.
Medication Authorizations for medication at school should be submitted at the start of every school year if needed.
If your student is going to be a 9th grader, please send this information to WHS.

Health Office Looking for Donations

WMS Health Office is looking for gently used/new shirts, leggings, shorts, sweatpants in teen sizes. If you are doing some summer cleaning and find these items, you may drop them off at the main office over the summer. Please make sure they are marked Health Office.

Orientation for 26-27 School Year!

Orientation for the 26-27 School year will be on Wednesday, August 5th for both incoming 7th and 8th Graders. This year we ask that you come at your assigned time by last name. If you are unable to, please come when you can. This will help with standing in long lines.

If you are an incoming 7th grader and you do not have your physical/Immunization Paperwork turned in or a waiver signed, you will not receive your schedule until that happens or until the first day of school on August 13th. Per the State of Nebraska, it is the law that you have to have this turned in by the first day of school.

*** You may still come and get your picture taken, sign up for in district busing, and set up your lunch account.

As always, if you are not able to come this day, you can pick up your schedule from the front office from August 6th - August 12th, and we will have more opportunities to get a school photo as well.
