Hi GCA Families!

Welcome to a new week! I hope you all had a wonderful Fall Break!

As we continue with this month's theme, Building Academic Success One Brick at a Time, remember that strengthening key skills at home doesn't have to feel like extra homework—it can seamlessly blend into your everyday routines and family playtime. Children learn best when they are actively engaged, and simple games can lay a sturdy foundation for lifelong learning.

Be sure to check out the attached handouts below:

  • Learn to Play and Play to Learn, which is packed with fun, play-oriented activities you can easily try at home
  • The ABC's of Being a Good Student to help guide your child's daily habits.

Pick just one fun activity to try together this week and watch those learning bricks fall right into place!

Let's Get Social

Are you looking for ways to help your student practice social skills or just have fun?

If so, our Community Events are a great way to do that. They will allow you and your student to get out in the community and meet other GCA families and learn along the way. Our Community Event Coordinators have worked hard to plan events all over the state so that all of our students will have the opportunity to come to an event.

Each month will be filled with fun and adventure at locations around the state and online. There are also several High School Socials where the kids can "hang" and have fun. See the full list and details on our Community Events Calendar Link.
