It is hard to believe May is here. As you might imagine, turning the calendar to May in an elementary school can sometimes excite our students. Please take some time to review Oak Brook expectations with your child. The link to the expectations is at the bottom of this email.
Next week is Staff Appreciation Week. Our PTO is working with us to honor our staff with a great week of activities. We have included a calendar of events below. Where it says teacher wish lists, that is from their list of favorites (I have that linked also). As always, we thank you for everything you do to support our school and staff.

Character Showcase
On Tuesday, May 13th our PTO is sponsoring our first ever Service Learning Showcase. On this evening, each multi-age family will have a display that shares information about the service learning project they worked on this year. This will also be the day we kick off any collection drives for those projects. The Open house begins at 6:30. We hope you can stop by to see all of their hard work. More details will be sent home next week.
