As a reminder, for students and staff, please drive cautiously coming into the school and leaving the school. The speed limit is 15mph both in the parking lot and the road labeled "school zone".
Miss Sollar's English Class
11th grade students from Miss Sollars's English class selected a historical figure of their choice to study in depth. From athletes and politicians to authors, musicians, and more, students explored a wide range of impactful individuals. They examined the lives, achievements, and lasting contributions these figures made within their respective fields and composed a research paper to showcase their findings. To bring their research to life in a creative way, students then designed and created 3D bobblehead figures representing the subjects of their papers.
The OG Band
Oak Glen continues to impress! OGHS Alumna Savannah Dulaney performed with the WVU Symphonic Band on Tuesday night. This is Savannah's first semester in the auditioned ensemble. She was also a featured soloist on one of the selections for the evening.

The World According to Mister Rogers "Important Things to Remember"
"I remember after my grandfather's death, seeing Dad in the hall with tears streaming down his face. I don't think I had ever seen him cry before. I'm glad I did see him. It helped me know that it was okay for men to cry. Many years later, when my father himself died, I cried; and way down deep I knew he would have said it was all right."
