Parent-Teacher Conferences will be held on October 14th and 15th. Sign-up for conferences ends at 3:00PM on Tuesday the 13th. We strongly encourage all families to participate, as these conferences are an important opportunity to discuss student progress and maintain strong communication between home and school. Both in-person and online options are available for your convenience. If you are unable to attend during the scheduled times, please contact your child’s teacher to arrange an alternative or connect via email. Our goal is to connect with 100% of our families during the conference window. Thank you for your continued partnership with St. John Catholic School.
We would like to remind you that our Parent Teacher Conferences will be held on Wednesday, October 14th and Thursday, October 15th. Please see the schedule below:
Wednesday, October 14th:
5:00 PM - 8:30 PM: In-person conferences at St. John
Thursday, October 15th:
9:00 AM - 2:00 PM: In-person conferences at St. John
5:00 PM - 8:30 PM: Conferences via Google Meet
Friday, October 18th:
No School
Teachers not on duty/Office closed
Important Reminder:
All conferences are by appointment. If you still need to make an appointment, please email your child’s teacher directly to arrange a conference time.
Online Conferences:
If you will be attending conferences via your smartphone, we kindly recommend downloading Google Meet apps beforehand. If you experience any difficulty logging into either platform, please email the teacher. They will be at their computer and ready to assist.
Lost and Found Items Please look over the Lost and Found table for any missing items. At the end of conferences, unclaimed items will be donated to the St John Rummage House.
Bookends will not be available on conference days

Trunk or Treat - Sunday October 25th
Join us for a fun-filled family afternoon at the St. John Trunk or Treat!

4:00–5:30 PM
St. John School Parking Lot
Bring the whole family for an afternoon of festive trunks, treats, and plenty of fun! Kids can come dressed in their favorite costumes and enjoy trick-or-treating in a safe, family-friendly atmosphere.
Please sign up to decorate a trunk, donate candy, or help out with this fun event! We need many trunks and lots of candy!

Dia de los Muertos Celebration & Potluck
A sign up will be going out later for our first annual Dia de los Muertos Celebration & Potluck! This is sponsored by our school's Madrinas. Our Madrinas (Godmothers) are a dedicated group of Spanish-speaking parent ambassadors who welcome new families, answer questions, and help build a stronger, more inclusive school community.

💳 Miscellaneous School Expenses
What's it take to run St. John School? This section is just to give you a snapshot of the various costs to run our school. We appreciate all of the support!

October Lunch Menu
🫶 Volunteer Hours
St. John School runs on Parent Power.
- A foundation piece for volunteering is to be Virtus trained. This is an Archdiocesan requirement and helps keep our children safe.
- 15 hours required per family (anyone can volunteer for the family including Grandparents) OR a suggested donation $225 to the Eagles Wings Fund (15hr x $15 = $225).
- These volunteer hours are on an honor system. St. John Catholic school will not track hours nor bill for Eagle Wings donations.
- Start date is June 1st of each year.
