Hello Reynolds Families,

We're now three-fourths of the way done with STAAR testing! Our students have been working so hard, and we are so proud of them for putting their learning on display. They've shown up ready to do their best, and it's been wonderful to see their focus and determination throughout the testing season.

Reynolds Middle School Safety Update

The top priority of Prosper ISD, and Reynolds Middle School, is keeping students and staff safe every day. This time of the year is a great time to remind students, staff, and parents about best practices to keep our students and staff safe daily.

As part of our continuing commitment to safety, we want to remind you of the following:

  • Exterior doors on all campuses and district facilities are checked daily by Prosper ISD Police Department Officers.
  • Students and staff should close exterior doors when they leave the building. Exterior doors should NEVER be propped open for any reason.
  • Every person should pay special attention when students, staff, teachers, or visitors exit an exterior door to ensure the door closes and locks once a person has left the building.
  • Do not allow adults or strangers into the campus from exterior doors. Report to teachers if someone is at an outside door.
  • All visitors should enter the campus through the front doors, where there is a secured vestibule. Visitors must be checked into the campus from the front office under visitor guidelines as outlined in district policy.
  • Staff and students must immediately report suspicious activity to campus administration and the Prosper ISD Police Department.

Thank you for helping us keep Reynolds Middle School a safe, welcoming place for our kids to learn and grow!

New Lunch Procedures Start Monday, April 20th

Reynolds MS Kitchen Reno is underway! To keep serving up favorites, we've got a new food truck on campus, plus a mobile cart and our concession stand all open. Explore all the locations and their offerings on our menu, valid April 20-May 20! (See graphic below for details.)

We're excited to launch our new lunch service model next week! We'll be having a soft-opening on Friday to test the new system, identify any issues, and resolve them before the full opening on Monday, April 20th.

We appreciate your patience as we work through this transition. Our goal is to provide students with great food options while ensuring efficient service during the renovation!

Fidgets and Distracting Items

Quick reminder for Reynolds families β€” large squishy fidgets and distracting toys belong at home, not in the classroom! Unless an item is part of a student's IEP, these can disrupt learning and risk getting lost or damaged at school. We appreciate your help keeping our classrooms focused and fun β€” reach out anytime with questions!
