Delco Dolphin Parent News
March Newsletter
Dear Delco Families,
As we welcome the month of March, we can feel a renewed sense of energy in our hallways. We are officially past the midway point of the semester, and it is wonderful to see how much our students have grown both academically and socially since the start of the year.
Academic Night: March 10th One of the highlights of this month will be our Academic Night on Tuesday, March 10th from 4:30 PM to 6:00 PM. We are incredibly excited to open our doors for a special interactive evening! This event is designed as a hands-on learning opportunity where you can learn alongside your children. You will be able to dive into activities, explore the new concepts they are mastering, and experience firsthand the fantastic work they do every day. We look forward to exploring and learning together!
New: Teacher Shout-Outs! We are also excited to announce that we are starting a new Teacher Shout-Out section in our monthly newsletters! Our educators work tirelessly every day, and we want to hear from you about the positive impact they are making. If a teacher or staff member has gone above and beyond for your student, please let us know by filling out this form so we can celebrate them in our upcoming editions.
As we navigate this busy and exciting point in the school year, please keep a few other important updates in mind:
Spring Break: A well-deserved rest is just around the corner! Our school will be closed for Spring Break from March 16thβ20th. We hope you use this time to relax, recharge, and enjoy time with your family.
Spring Assessments: As we head into the later part of the spring, we are beginning to prepare for state assessments. We want to keep this a low-stress experience for our students. You can help by ensuring they are getting plenty of sleep, eating a good breakfast, and arriving at school on time each day.
Daylight Saving Time: Don't forget to "spring forward"! Daylight Saving Time begins on Sunday, March 8th. Be sure to set your clocks ahead one hour so your students aren't late to school on Monday!
Thank you, as always, for your continued partnership and support. It takes a village, and we are so grateful that you are part of ours.
