Principal's Update
May 14, 2026
Happy Thursday Wolves!
It's almost time for the Ridges Fair! We still have several open volunteer slots for tomorrow night. Please check out the sign-ups linked here to help ensure we are able to keep all our games open for the whole night! Right now, many will be closing at 6:30 pm if we don't get additional help. Our PAC has been working super hard to put this event together for our school and we are very thankful for the many many hours they have invested in making this possible for our students. We hope you can all join us tomorrow!
Below are some additional updates for the coming weeks. A quick reminder that all student library books are due next Friday (May 22nd). We are also still selling yearbooks for the 2025-2026 school year. If you haven't ordered one and would like to, please see the yearbook section below. Yearbook orders close in June.
Hope to see you at the fair,
Miranda
We Need Your Help to Make the School Fair Happen
Our School Fair is coming up on May 15th from 5:00–8:00 PM, and we urgently need volunteers to make it a success for our kids.
All parents and high school students can volunteer!
No school volunteer clearance is required for this after-school event—non-school hours are open to everyone!
We have 1-hour and 1.5-hour shifts available, so you can help and still have time to enjoy the fair with your family.
Without enough volunteers, we may have to shut down games early—and we truly don’t want to disappoint our kids.
Please consider signing up and being part of this fun and meaningful event!
Library Books Due Soon
All Ridges Library books are due by Friday, May 22.
If you receive a notice that your child has books checked out, please remind them to return all items by this date.
If any books are lost or damaged, please contact Mrs. Hansen at lhansen@sherwood.k12.or.us or call 503-825-5709 so a replacement fee can be added to your ParentVUE account. Fees can be paid online through the ParentVUE app, or in person at the school office using cash (exact amount only) or check.
If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out. Thank you for helping us ensure all library materials are returned on time!
