The start of the 2024-2025 school year began with some heat! The high school was able to maintain comfortable conditions in almost every classroom and learning went on despite the warm and humid conditions. A big thank you goes out to all students and staff for making the most of our extended summer days.
As we approach the first full month of the year, we look forward to fall activities ramping up into full gear. The Activities Department is looking forward to launching a new and updated website for access to registration, game tickets and up-to-the-minute schedules. As soon as the website launches, look for links through text, email and social media.
We invite you to follow Albert Lea High School on Facebook. We have become more active on this platform as the year has started. The new Tigers Unite app is also a great way to keep up to date. Check out the bottom of this newsletter for links including the newly updated Albert Lea Area School District Facebook page.
As always, I look forward to meeting and chatting with as many students and parents as possible as we move through this year. Not that anyone is counting, but as of September 1, we are a mere 263 days from the 2025 Commencement Ceremony!
