BIDDEFORD MIDDLE SCHOOL NEWSLETTER

This week marks the halfway point of our school year and the beginning of the second semester. As we enter this new phase, your child will transition into fresh Unified Arts classes that they will enjoy for the remainder of the year.

Over the past few weeks, our students have shown commendable effort on the Math and Reading MTYA Assessment. I appreciate the dedication and hard work our students continue to demonstrate during these evaluations.

Winter sports remain in full swing through the end of the month, with wrestling and indoor track set to begin soon. We’re also excited to showcase our students’ incredible talents:

• Join us for the Honors Music Festival on January 30th & 31st.
• Don’t miss the BMS Drama Club’s performance of Moana JR on February 12th & 13th.

As the cold Maine winter settles in, we want to remind you that we are here to support our community. If your family needs assistance with warm clothing, such as hats, mittens, or shoes, please don’t hesitate to reach out.

Thank you for your continued support. Stay safe, stay warm, and stay healthy!

Sincerely,
Mr. Scott Descoteaux
Principal
Biddeford Middle School
