Linden Elementary Updates
November
Principal's Message
Dear Families,
Thank you so much to all who attended Parent-Teacher Conferences! I truly appreciate the time you took to connect with teachers and discuss your child’s progress. Your partnership means so much, and I’m grateful for the trust and collaboration you share with us.
As we move into November, I want to take a moment to thank our students, staff, and families for helping make our school such a safe and welcoming place. This month offers a wonderful opportunity to reflect on gratitude and kindness, two values that make a big difference both in and out of the classroom.
I encourage families to continue staying in touch throughout the year and to talk with their children about showing respect and care for others, especially as the days grow shorter and the holiday season begins. A simple act of kindness like holding a door, sharing a smile, or helping a classmate goes a long way in keeping our school community strong.
I am so thankful for your ongoing support and for all the ways you help make our school a vibrant, welcoming place for students to learn and grow. Together, we are building a community where every child feels valued, inspired, and celebrated.
With gratitude,
Jeannine Strickert
HALLOWEEN – OCTOBER 31
We will be celebrating Halloween on Friday, October 31. There will be a parade in the Parent Pick Up/Drop Off Loop in front of Linden Elementary. The parade begins at 2:15 pm. Parents can begin lining up outside at 2:00 pm. In the event of rain, the parade will be brought indoors to the Gym. Please refer to teacher communication regarding individual classroom party details. The students should bring their costumes to school in a bag or backpack with their name on it. Swords, wands, brooms, masks, weapons, makeup, fake blood, or inappropriate masks should be avoided and kept at home. All visitors will need an iChat on file by October 29th. There will be sign-in sheets for visitors to sign in by classroom. All students are required to be signed out by their classroom teacher.

Safety Reminder from Linden Elementary
Dear Families,
As we move through the busy fall season, I’d like to remind everyone to stay extra alert during morning drop-off and afternoon pick-up. The safety of our students is our top priority, and your attention makes all the difference.
Please be especially mindful when driving through the parent drop-off and pick-up loop, and remember to stay focused—avoid distractions like phones or conversations that take your eyes off the road. Also, watch carefully for students and crossing guards in the crosswalks, both in our school parking lot and on Bridge Street.
A few quick reminders:
-
Drive slowly and follow all posted signs and staff directions.
-
Always yield to pedestrians in the crosswalk.
-
Pull forward as directed to keep traffic moving safely and smoothly.
-
Stay patient and courteous—your calm helps keep everyone safe.
Thank you for doing your part to keep our students, staff, and families safe every day. Your attention and care help make Linden Elementary a safe and welcoming place for all!
