PSAT Results are In!
PSAT NMSQT testers! Scores for the PSAT/NMSQT are available! Fall test takers can review their scores in a variety of ways. Students who chose to provide a mobile phone number during testing can easily and quickly view their scores and more on the BigFuture® School app. Students age 13 and older may also use a personal College Board student account to view scores and additional information online. See below on how to access an account. Paper copies of your scores will be provided to you by the school also but accessing scores in the future will need to be through your College Board or BigFuture account. See below for details on how to take advantage of College Board accounts and information. FFA Pop-Tab Community Service Project
We’re excited to announce that our FFA Pop-Tab Community Service Project is underway! We’re collecting aluminum pop tabs to support the Ronald McDonald House, and we’d love your help spreading the word and getting involved!
Here’s how you can participate:
Collect pop tabs from cans (soda, soup, etc.).
Encourage your 2nd period to bring in as many as they can!
Turn in your collection to Mrs. Watkins or the office by December 4th.
The winning 2nd period class gets a hot chocolate party.
This simple act makes a big difference — those tiny tabs add up fast and help fund important programs for families in need.
If you have any questions or need another classroom collection baggie, please reach out to Mrs. Watkins!
Attendance Reminder
We want to remind families of the proper procedure when a student is not feeling well during the school day. If a student begins feeling sick at school, they must go through the nurse’s office before leaving campus. The nurse will assess the student and determine whether they need to go home.
Students who sign out for an “appointment” and later bring a note stating they were not feeling well will not be excused. For an illness-related absence to be excused, the student must be evaluated and sent home by the school nurse. If the student leaves for illness without being seen by the nurse, they must return with a doctor’s note for the absence to be excused.
Thank you for helping us ensure all attendance procedures are followed and that students are properly cared for while at school.
FAFSA/TASFA Night
East Texas A&M University will be hosting several FAFSA/TASFA Nights between October 22 and December 9. The events will be held either in person or through Zoom. We would like to invite your senior students and families to attend.
