Below is the message I shared with our students last Thursday morning:
Thank You!
We have so much to be thankful for at PES! The first four months of school have been AMAZING! Our students have been working hard to become the best that they can be. I'm so thankful for each and everyone of our students and their unique contributions to our school culture. Their smiles, dedication, enthusiasm, effort, success, and even failings provide purpose to my work life.
Thank you for all of your support! It takes a village and the support from teachers, parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, guardians, and friends all contribute to the success of your child. Collectively, our efforts are making a difference; our students are growing in all facets of life-- academically, socially, and emotionally. The Trojan Way is alive and well and the future of our school and community is in good hands with this generation of students who are growing up right before our eyes.
I hope everyone is able to enjoy the break! Spend time with family and friends to reflect on the blessings you have in your life. We have a lot to be thankful for. Happy Thanksgiving!
