State of the Schools

SCS State of the Schools - Tuesday, February 13
Join us for the annual "State of the Schools" event on Tuesday, February 13 at 6:00pm. This year's State of the Schools will be held at Strongsville Middle School and will not only feature a brief presentation by Dr. Cameron Ryba (SCS Superintendent), but also an opportunity for attendees to participate in interactive activities and displays led by our SCS students and staff - allowing everyone to experience firsthand some of the great opportunities and student growth happening throughout our District!
Girl Scouts Fundraiser
Month of February
Girl Scout Troop 70287 is a troop in Strongsville with girls from all of the Strongsville
elementary schools - including St. Joseph and John. They are a troop of 1st grade Daisies
and 2nd grade Brownies. In the month of February they are very excited to be collecting
donations for the Berea ARF animal shelter. If you are able to and would like to help,
please drop donations off in the school lobby by Thursday, February 29th. ARF is always in
need of basic animal care and cleaning supplies that are used daily at the shelter. Your
donations of the items listed below can make a big difference to the animals!
All Pro Dads
Friday, February 23rd
We’re excited about our upcoming All Pro Dad meeting! Join us for an opportunity to spend time with your kids at school that will strengthen your relationship.

Parent-Teacher Conferences
February 1st and February 7th
Winter Conferences are available for families on the evenings of February 1st and February 7th. Teachers will be reaching out to schedule them on an as needed basis.

WHO: Admission is free for all Kinsner boys and one special adult. There
will be activities for non-skaters! All children must be accompanied by an
adult and supervised the entire night.
WHAT: Skating, Dancing, Games and special time together!
WHEN: *Friday, February 9th from 5-7pm for Kindergarten, 1st and 2nd grades
*Saturday, February 10th from 5-7pm For 3rd, 4th and 5th grades
WHERE: Brunswick Skate Station

Skate rental is $2 for quads and $4 for inlines, to be paid at the skate
station. Cash is preferred. There may be a service charge for credit.
