Fall Concert - October 8th

Our 7th and 8th graders are preparing for their Fall Concert on Thursday, October 8th at 6:30pm in the MBMS Gym. Report time for students is 6:15. Students are encouraged to perform in costume! Costumes must meet school dress code requirements. Nothing overly scary or gory! Audience members will have a chance to vote on their favorite costume. Don't miss it!

Pass-Off Leaders

Congratulations to our current 6th grade pass-off leaders Anna Jane, Ellie, Emmaline, Holland, Tiffany, Chloe, Richard, and Orion (not pictured)! These students are putting in the extra work to lead by example and it shows.

Interested in studying with a private teacher on your instrument? There are many qualified teachers in our area. You might consider the UGA Community Music School. A subscription to Essential Elements Interactive is included with the purchase of your child's band book. Students can use this digital platform to turn in assignments to Dr. York or just to get extra help with practice. Follow these instructions to create an account:

1. Go to https://essentialelementsinteractive.com/register/MalcomBa1
2. Select "No, I do not have an EEi student ID"
3. Follow the prompts to create your account
4. Enter the activation code found on the first page of your book
5. You are ready to practice and record using EEi
