This week we are reciewing VCe, Closed and Open Syllables within multisyllabic words. Students will practice accurately decoding AND encoding these words using phonics knowledge.

Reading and Writing:
We are moving into a new genre in our unit on author's purpose: Nonfiction Narrative. This is a special type of text that teaches readers real information using a narrative (story-like) text structure. Students are then invited to practice this type of writing in their own work.
