Message From the Principal

Dear EA Parents and Guardians,

April was a busy month here at EA with ISAT and iReady testing. I am proud of how well our students did and we were able get all our juniors tested in the ISAT Math and ELA portions! Freshman and Sophomores participated in the iReady assessment for both Math and ELA as well. Results for all these tests will be available soon... but don't wait, ask your student how they think they did on their assessments.

Looking to next month, we are focused on Graduation! May 22nd is graduation for EA, and all our alternative schools. Tickets are required to attend. All graduates will get 7 tickets for the ceremony, and unfortunately the time to request additional tickets has passed. Tickets will be available for pick up at our Graduation Rehearsal by parents on May 20th at 6:00pm. See the Graduation section below for more details.

If you have other suggestions for topics to be covered in future newsletters, please reach out to me directly at sprengel.evan@westada.org or by calling 208-350-4220.

Wishing you all the best,

Evan Sprengel

Principal, Eagle Academy

Student Laptops - Summer Student Laptops - Summer

All students will leave their devices (laptop) here at Eagle Academy for the summer. Any student who is planning on taking summer school will keep their device.

If a parent/guardian wants to have their student keep their device over the summer, the device needs to be inspected by the school and checked back out to the student.

Data Corner Data Corner

Each month this section will show the data behind all the hard work our staff and students do.

Below are the year-to-date number of amazing EA graduates, the number of students who have PERFECT attendance this month (which we define as not missing any class period for the month), the number of positive acknowledgements students have earned. Students earn positive acknowledgements by showing our school-wide behaviors expectations of "R.O.A.R.S." (Respect, Our best, Accountable, Responsible, and Safe)], and the credits earned by our students each month.

Ask your student if they are a part of any of these categories!
