Hello, families!

As we prepare for warmer days, we wanted to share an exciting Queen's summer camp opportunity. ASUS Camps offers English and French programming for children ages 4-12 to encourage interest in arts and science from a young age. Located on Queen's campus, each week is comprised of a unique theme and various engaging activities in line with the Ontario Curriculum. ASUS Camps strives to create a positive atmosphere to help your children develop friendships, discover new skills, and (most importantly) have FUN! Check out their website for more information - www.asuscamp.ca

Spaces are filling up fast, so don't miss out on this opportunity. If you have any questions, please contact Orli Rich, the Director of Operations, at camps.operations@asus.queensu.ca.

Thank you so much in advance for your time, I look forward to hearing from you 🙂

School Messenger App School Messenger App

Why Use the SchoolMessenger App?

When you join SchoolMessenger, you will be able to:

  • receive imporant information from LDSB
  • join classrooms and extra-curricular groups
  • report a student's absence (same day and in advance)

Reporting A Student's Absence:

The new student absence reporting system will let you use a mobile app, a website, or an interactive toll-free phone number to report an absence in advance. These options are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Future absences can be reported at any time.

If your student is marked absent and the absence hasn’t been reported in advance, our new SafeArrival system will attempt to reach the student’s priority contact by telephone to confirm the absence. If our system is unable to reach the designated contacts, school office staff will follow up.
