Digital Learning Day
Tech Tip Tuesday (January 30, 2024)
💻 Digital Learning Day is Thursday, February 15! 💻
#DLDay is celebrated yearly to promote the innovative ways technology is used in education.
On Digital Learning Day, schools, districts, and organizations often host celebrations and events to showcase successful digital learning practices and new tech innovations. Webinars, Twitter chats, presentations, and student project exhibits are common for schools and classes to show off their teachers and students together.
The overall goal is to get teachers, administrators, policymakers, and communities more enthusiastic and knowledgeable about digital learning transformation in education. This includes rethinking how to integrate technology effectively to positively impact things like personalized learning, equity of access, engagement, and college/career readiness.
Try your own activity in class and celebrate technology changing how we teach!

February is Black History Month!
I'll put new resources weekly throughout February.
Check out this great calendar and collection of resources for Black Americans and Canadians to use daily or when you can discuss!
Note: Since it's a published Google resource from another educator, students cannot view it directly; please make copies of all resources for your school account.
