The first few weeks have been filled with energy, enthusiasm, and a strong commitment from our students, staff, and families to make this year one of the best yet. Thank you for your continued support as we work together to ensure academic growth and positive experiences for all of our Hurricanes.

As we move into September and October, we are excited to share some important updates and upcoming events:

  • Homecoming 2025 – This year’s homecoming promises to be a memorable celebration of school spirit! Festivities will include themed dress-up days, a pep rally, the football game, and the highly anticipated Homecoming Dance. We encourage all students and families to take part in the excitement and show their Hurricane pride. The game is September 26th and the Homecoming dance will be held the 27th at JCHS.

  • Student Council Elections – Congratulations to our newly elected Student Council officers and representatives! We are proud of our student leaders who are stepping up to represent their peers and contribute their voices to the life of JCHS. We look forward to seeing their leadership in action throughout the year.

  • Family Engagement Opportunities – We will continue offering events and workshops designed to strengthen the home-school connection. Be on the lookout for details about upcoming Title I family nights, academic workshops, and other opportunities to stay involved.

We are so proud of the momentum we have built as a school community, and we look forward to what the fall semester will bring. Thank you for partnering with us to support your student’s success. Together, we can ensure that every Hurricane is prepared for a bright future.
