Dear DCS families, this week was filled with new experiences for many of our students! The 3rd, 4th, and 5th Graders said goodbye to the turtles they have lovingly raised! They are now saying hello to the chicks that are hatching! As of Friday there were 11 chicks peeping away! It was so sweet to see so many faces at the Circus! Troy's energy is abundant and the students feed off of it. What I especially enjoy is the opportunity for our students to try new activities of their choosing. Watching each student grow in their skills over 4 days is a joy and the courage they possess when performing in front of a packed house is awesome! Thanks so much to the PTO for the sweet treats afterwards. If you are interested in becoming part of the PTO please let me know.

I am hoping you will take a few minutes to complete the linked survey-the information you share will help with planning for next year. Thank you in advance. DCS family survey. I hope you have a wonderful weekend, Nicole

A message from Pam Murphy, RN DCS School Nurse

Recently, there have been numerous student requests for cough drops. As cough drops are considered medication, I am asking for your help in following the ConVal policy on medication administration at the elementary level. To do this, any medication, including cough drops, must be delivered to the school by a parent/guardian or their designated responsible adult in the original container. A written permission form is also required which is available at DCS.

Please reach out to me at pmurphy@conval.edu if you have any questions.

If you are interested in ordering some DCS swag for your student(s), please use this link. We will be providing new students with a DCS T-in the near future. https://dublinravens.deco-apparel.com/
