Fan Pledge Fundraiser Kicks Off Tuesday After School!
Enter Those Contacts TODAY!
On Tuesday, we will kick off our single largest fundraiser of the year – our FanPledge donation drive! This fundraiser is a great way for family and friends from across the country to donate and support our amazing students.
We are asking that students and families input the names, phone numbers, and email addresses of 20 individuals who you think would consider supporting our amazing band program.
Contacts can be anyone you know and trust! Consider extended family, friends, neighbors, church/youth group members, and anyone in between. We do ask that contacts are 18 or older and not businesses.
On Tuesday after school, students will call, text, and email their contacts to ask for pledges towards our fundraising efforts. Our goal is $50,000, which represents a significant portion of the funds needed to operate our exceptional band program.
Participation in any fundraising activity is optional, however, we need your help more than ever. Most of our program is funded through band fees and fundraising. Even the smallest contribution is significant.
Students must have a minimum of
5 contacts in their Fan Pledge profile
to participate in the kick-off party on Tuesday!
🚨Last Day for Ticket Sales!🚨
Come join us for a family dinner sponsored by Dilla's prior to the Fall Concert on Wednesday, September 30th!
The meal will include a cheese or chicken and cheese quesadilla, cookies, and a bottled water.
The meal is $15 per plate. All proceeds from the event support the Killian Band general fund.
Dinner starts at 5:30 PM and ends just in time for our 7:00 PM concert start time. So, bring the whole family, have a great meal, and support the Killian Band!

🚨 PAST DUE: Presto, Forms, Fees! 🚨
📝 Log on to Presto today to take care of required Forms and Fees! 💵
🚨 All band students have required forms and fees to participate in band this year. 🚨
💵 If you need any financial assistance, there are ways we can help! Reach out to Mr. Ousey. 💵
Please sign up for a shift to help run mock auditions for our students participating in the All-District and All-Region audition process. Parents are encouraged to volunteer during the time their student is auditioning.
- Room Monitor: Multiple shifts available. Check in students as they arrive for their audition. Assist students entering/exiting the room. Help keep the room on schedule. Monitor the hallway area outside the room to keep students quiet. Assist as a liaison between judge and directors in case of an emergency or issue.
- Warm-Up Room Monitor: Multiple shifts available. Monitor student behavior in the band hall (warm-up room) as students arrive and prepare for auditions. Open the exterior band hall door as students arrive. Keep hallway door closed to prevent noise bleed. Notify band directors of any behavior concerns or emergencies. Help students with basic questions. This is a noisy position!
We are excited for our Annual Fall Band Picnic. We will need some volunteers to make this event a success. You can contribute in several ways, including showcasing your Grill Master skills or helping us bring items. Killian Band will provide the hot dogs and condiments. Veggie burgers will also be available.
- Set Up Crew: Help secure a spot under the pavilion at the park. Set up tables, paper goods, and other supplies as necessary prior to the arrival of students.
- Adult Chaperone / Food Service: We need parent volunteers to help serve food and monitor kids at the park during the event.
- Bring a Grill and be The Grill Master: We need parent volunteers to bring their grills and necessary utensils to cook hot dogs that will be provided.
- Chips Donation: For sanitary reasons, only boxes with individual chip bags. Do not bring large bags of chips.
- Dessert Donation: Bring a dessert to share - cookies, brownies, mini cupcakes, etc... anything easy to hand out individually.
- Drinks Donation: Bring any 12-pack of drinks to share - juice, soda, water, gatorade, etc... If possibe bring drinks cold, we will provide ice and coolers.
