Happy Saturday Windsong Ranch Families,

As Hope Week comes to a close, we are so proud of the way our students embraced this year’s art theme. Throughout the week, they were reminded that just like a work of art, each of them is uniquely created with purpose, beauty, and value. Our hope is that these messages don’t stay within the walls of this week, but travel home in conversations, actions, and choices.

We are thrilled to share that the TEA has approved our ice day waiver request, which means we will NOT need to make up the missed weather day on Monday, April 6th!

5th Grade Honor Choir Concert Today!

The District 5th Grade Honor Choir brings together talented 5th grade singers from campuses across Prosper ISD. After participating in auditions, these students will join their peers for a special afternoon of music and collaboration. We hope you’ll join us — admission is free!

2026 Hope Walk

Save the date! Hope Walk 2026 will be April 11th from 9-11am. Hope Walk shirts are available to order until March 11th and will be delivered to campus on April 3rd. See the flyer for more information and to order a shirt.

Diverse Abilities Night: Showcase Your Strengths!

As part of our upcoming Diverse Abilities Night, we are hosting a Strength Showcase to celebrate our students' diverse talents. If your child is supported through Special Education and has a passion for Lego, art, math, or a unique ability they want to share, we want to see it! You will need to set up a table to display any strength, hobby, talent, or even collections (music, dancing, arts and crafts, Legos, video games, Pokémon cards, stamps, coins, etc..) This event builds confidence, social skills and connections.

When: March 26, 2026 | 5:00–6:30 PM
Action: Complete the Strength Showcase Form to sign up!

Guidance Lessons

During the week of March 2-6 Mrs. Stenson will be visiting all 2nd and 5th grade classrooms as we begin talking about perseverance and goal setting. Click the Monthly Guidance Topics to see what's coming up.

Hope Squad nominations for 6th grade

During the week of March 2, 2026, current 5th-grade students will complete a nomination form. Students will be asked to name three classmates who demonstrate the following qualities:

Concerned about others.

Easy to talk with.

A good listener.

Someone they could turn to if they needed a friend.

A positive influence who does not engage in bullying

Together, we continue to empower our Guiding Coalition as they led Part 1 of a three-part professional learning series focused on strengthening our workshop model. Their leadership created meaningful growth opportunities and provided targeted professional development designed to help every staff member refine their practice and reach their full potential.
