Step 2: Add Your Info

Fill out your education and institution information.

Go to "Works" and "Add Works." Select "Search & Link."

You have the option to search for your works through several different sources.

First, try Scopus. Scopus will prompt you for permission to sync.

If Scopus did not locate all of your research, try CrossRef Metadata Search, Europe PubMed Central, or ResearcherID in addition.

Select your publications to make them visible on your ORCID profile, and be sure to make them public.

Step 3: Use Your ORCID

Now you have a persistent digital identifier for your research. This identifier integrates with key research workflows such as manuscript submissions and grant applications. It can also help you keep your CV up to date.

Include your ORCID on your webpage, on your manuscript submissions, and on your grant applications to make sure you get credit for your work.
