Infinite Campus Parent Portal Coming in July

Our district’s Instructional Technology team is actively transitioning the DCS student information system from ProgressBook to Infinite Campus. Families will receive an email in July with instructions on how to set up their Infinite Campus Parent Portal account. IC Parent Portal is where parents/guardians will access information about bus routes, homeroom assignments, class schedules, student attendance, and grades. IC Parent Portal will also house all of our district's required back-to-school digital forms, including emergency medical forms and technology use agreements. It is important that families keep an eye out for the IC Parent Portal instructions and get their account set up so all students are back-to-school ready come August. Be on the lookout for more details, including required action steps for parents, around mid-July.

Back-to-School Dates and Information

The DCS Communications team is currently working on transitioning all school building websites to the "new look" that the district website changed to in January. Once the building websites are refreshed, families will be able to easily access all the back-to-school information they may need, including open house dates, school supply lists, how to pay school fees, and more. A second issue of Inside DCS: Summer Series will be sent in July with reminders about where to find this information. Stay tuned!
