In recognition of Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Mr. Conti’s talented art students at Berea-Midpark High School brought together creativity and purpose to celebrate Dr. King’s legacy through “Light,” an MLK Jr. Memorial currently on display at the Cuyahoga County Public Library, Berea Branch. The display is open to the public through January 24.
This student-created memorial reflects Dr. King’s enduring message that light can drive out darkness, combining sculpture and digital design through the work of the Design Concepts class.
Students Involved with Sculpture Creation:
Lucas Bobula, Jackson Clark-O’Neill, Victor Cook, Logan Keilholtz, and Grant Ziaja
Digital Art:
Brooke Brady, Lyla Chong, Victor Cook, Gavin Wagner, and Ad’Dan Wearren
