Quantum Family Connection

Hello Quantum Families,

The Quantum Team had an amazing showing at the smART Festival on Saturday! Congratulations to Mrs. Murphy and our student creators and ambassadors. There was art from Explore and Elements classes, core classes, ELOP classes, wheel classes, and art from parents and staff as well. Students were demonstrating how to use the Cricut machines in real time as they showed off their creations - felt busy books for local preschools!

Our 4th - 6th graders will be watching Moana on Thursday, for our last movie night of the year. Permission slips are required and students can’t attend if they have any ODRs this week. Please remind your students that school rules and safe, respectful, responsible, and scholarly behavior are still in effect during this movie so we all enjoy our experience! If you are interested in volunteering, please contact Ms. Dessy at deflores@eusd.org

Pull all the way forward in the loop to drop -off and pick-up. This helps more cars get into the parking lot and out of the street. Students should only be dropped off or picked up in the loop area in the front of the school. Dropping students off in the grass area is not safe and creates a backlog. Please keep to one line of cars in the loop. If cars try to go around, they may create an unsafe situation for students crossing in the crosswalk. Our street gets backed up to Valley Parkway, so we recommend taking James Street for easier drop-off and pick-up. Thank you for following our parking lot expectations and keeping our students safe!

We are at our last Explore and Elements class for the year! Classes this round include: Photography, Wildlife Conservation, Minecraft Video Game Design, Embroidery, Watercolor & Pen, ASL, Edison Robot Builds, Spring Play, Personal Totem Poles, Mural Sketching, and Sports We all Love. Thank you Mr. Hanel for putting these rosters together for us this year! Ask your Quark which class they are signed up for and what they are looking forward to. Genius Hour is up next!
