Garfield Tiger Pride! Garfield Tiger Pride!

Tiger Pride Fridays Are Back!

At Garfield Elementary, we love to show our Tiger Pride—and one of the ways we do that is by wearing our blue Garfield Elementary t-shirts every Friday! Thanks to generous donations, every student receives a t-shirt so they can join in the fun and feel part of our school community.

We’re excited to share that the shirts have arrived! Our first Tiger Pride Friday is coming up on Friday, September 26. Please make sure your student has their blue Garfield t-shirt ready to wear.

If your child didn’t receive a shirt or has outgrown theirs, just let their teacher know—we’ll make sure they get one. We want every student to feel included and proud to be a Garfield Tiger!

Important Reminder: After-School Transportation Changes Important Reminder: After-School Transportation Changes

For the safety and well-being of all students, it is essential that any changes to your child’s after-school transportation are communicated to the office no later than 2:30 PM Monday–Thursday and 1:30 PM on Fridays.

We understand that emergencies can arise. However, as a general rule, if we do not receive notification by the times listed above, we cannot guarantee that we will be able to accommodate the change. In such cases, your child will follow their regular dismissal plan (e.g., riding the bus).

Please help us ensure every child gets home safely by calling the office at 425-385-4700 with any transportation updates. Thank you for your cooperation and support.

To ensure safety and efficiency during drop-off and pick-up, please follow these guidelines:

  • Drop-Off: Stay in your vehicle. Have your child exit on the curbside (passenger side/right side) for safety.
  • Pick-Up: Stay in your vehicle. Once you reach the pick-up zone, we will call your child to your car. They will enter on the curbside for safety.

If you need to get out of your car, please park in a designated parking area. Parking is available in the school parking lot or along adjacent streets (including 23rd adjacent to the school parking lot). Do not park in the carline including along the fence on 23rd or in the bus zone on Pine Street. All other areas are open for street parking.

Thank you for helping us keep our students safe and our traffic flow smooth!
