Welcome back! We hope you had a fun, relaxing, and memorable break. As we begin a new school year, we're excited for the opportunities, friendships, and learning experiences that lie ahead. Together, we'll work hard, support one another, and make this year one to remember.

If your child is absent from a class, part of the day, or all day, he/she must:

• Bring a dated notes explaining the absence.
• The note must be signed by a parent/guardian.
• The note must be on a letterhead, have the doctor/dentist's name and time of the appointment.
• All notes must be turned into the school office where all notes will be reviewed.
• The note will be kept in the student's attendance file.

Parents, please keep in mind:

• ONLY 5 parent notes for absences are permitted per semester.
• 4 unexcused tardies will equal 1 unexcused absence.
• This will be applied to the tiered intervention process.
