PTA Weekly Update

Good morning Huskie Families,
School's (almost) out for summer! This is our last update for the 2025-2026 school year.
- Save yourself some time and order supplies for next school year from our partners at EPI. Use code SPR141. Orders are due by June 16. Supplies will be delivered directly to your students' classrooms in time for school to start in August.
- We will have several committee openings for the coming school year. More info on these positions can be found below. Contact Marissa Kopp if you're thinking about getting involved. Be sure to also check our website for information on all things PTA!
On behalf of the PTA leadership team, we wish you and your families a wonderful summer. A special, final, thank you to the 5th grade families finishing up their time at Spring Brook. We've appreciated your support and help over the years!

Coming Soon: Field Day Volunteer Sign Up
Spring Brook's annual Field Day is Wednesday, May 27! We're planning fun-filled day to wrap up a great school year! K-2 and 3-5 grade students will each participate in a half-day filled with activities. We have a few volunteer spots available for the day of, and are in need of a few volunteers to help with preparation the day before. Sign up here.
Save yourself some time and order school supplies online! EPI School Supplies will once again provide supply packs for Spring Brook for the 2026-27 school year. Go to the website to purchase supplies for your student(s) now. Use school code SPR141.
Supply packs will be delivered to the school. The deadline to order is June 16, 2025.
A Note from Our Community Relations Chair:
The PTA is always looking for new ways to partner with the community to enrich the lives of our students. We expanded our sponsorship program during the 2025-2026 school year and plan to continue these efforts in the 2026-2027 school year.
If your family owns or is connected to a local business and is interested in sponsoring a Spring Brook event, please see the attached letter for more information or reach out to Ellen Muryan.
PTA Reflections 2026-27 Theme Announced
The national PTA has been committed to arts education for more than 50 years. Students who love art, music, photography, dance, writing, or film are invited to create original works of art for the PTA's Art Reflections Program. Each year, hundreds of thousands of students in pre-K through grade 12 participate, creating artwork in response to a student-created theme.
The theme for the 2026-2027 Art Reflections Program was just announced: “What My Culture Means to Me.” Take some time this summer with your kids to think about this theme. Entries will be due mid October.

Committee Opportunities for Next Year
Even though we're headed into summer break mode, the PTA executive committee is already thinking ahead to the 2026-2027 academic year. We will have a number of openings on our event and program committees.
