Dear Basswood Families,

Today our Four Star students led they way in the Basswood Teddy Bear Parade. They proudly paraded their teddy bears through the halls as everyone cheered for them. It was a delightful celebration of our favorite stuffies.

The Basswood Read A Thon is nearly over and our students only have one more day to read. If the kids meet their reading goal, there will be a Pie the Principals celebration. However, we will need to see reading totals of over 400,000 minutes. So, be sure to turn in those reading logs to homeroom teachers. Read, Read, Read!

We are officially at the time of year when it is cold in the morning and warm in the afternoon. This can lead to children forgetting their clothing at school and the Lost and Found is overflowing. Next week we will place the lost and found items out on tables. Please come by and check for items that belong to your family.

Thanks for the continued support to those need. If you would like to help, you can purchase needed items from this Amazon list and send the items directly to Fair Oaks Elementary. You can also leave donations in the Basswood office and they will be delivered promptly.
