It is that time! We will meet on Tuesday, October 29th at 5:00 pm in the library at Woods Lake to discuss our 1st book. I am thrilled to invite you to join me for insightful discussions and a chance to bond over our love for reading. Let’s make this a wonderful experience together!

To maximize student learning time, please ensure your child arrives at school on time each day at 8:44 am. If you need to pick up your child before dismissal for an emergency or an appointment, kindly contact the main office and ensure they are picked up no later than 3:00 PM.

1. No school for students on Friday, November 1, 2024

2. Tuesday, October 29th First Grade Students are attending a field trip to Gull Meadow Farms.

3. We are asking for school supplies for students, candy, and healthy snack donations that are peanut free for our Fall Harvest Trunk or Treat celebration. Please drop off donations to the Main Office no later than October 29th.

4. Wednesday, October 30, 2024 is our Fall Trunk or Treat Celebration from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm. Parents may out out of their child participating by sending a note to your child's teacher. Students have the opportunity to bring costumes to school with them to wear during the event. Costumes must be family friendly. Fall festive outfits and regular attire are fine to wear. Parents who choose to watch the student parade must park in the parking lot off of Oakland Dr. Only registered cars for the Trunk or Treat Celebration will be allowed to park in the parking lot off of Parkview.

5. Principal Book Club is scheduled for Tuesday, October 29th at 5:00 pm in the library.

6. The School Store Fundraiser is going on now. Please read additional information at the bottom of the newsletter.

7 Please complete the Education Benefit Forms so your child can continue to receive free breakfast and free lunch. Please access the form at the bottom of the newsletter.

Hey families!

Students came home with a fundraising packet from the School Store, an online fundraiser we've used for the past several years. All students need do to earn a prize is follow the instructions on the front of the packet and return their folder to school- it is that simple!

This fundraiser allows Woods Lake to receive cash earnings from several participating companies, including major retailers. Also, this fundraiser allows for the purchase of Caring for Classrooms gift cards that directly benefit your child's teacher for classroom supplies and learning materials.
