Parent Survey
As St. John's School prepares for our 2026–27 National Lutheran School Accreditation (NLSA) renewal, we need your feedback. Accreditation is a rigorous self-study process that occurs every 5 years, and ensures we maintain high academic standards and nurture a thriving spiritual environment for your children.
We ask that every family in K-8 completes this survey once.
Why Complete the Survey?
Shape Our Future: Your feedback directly guides our multi-year strategic plan for curriculum, facilities, and school culture.
Share Your Perspective: You see the daily reality of St. John's through your child's eyes, showing us what is working well and where we can grow.
Accreditation Requirement: NLSA relies on authentic parent involvement to hold us accountable to our mission and the families we serve.

Pioneer Girls: 1st - 5th grade
Pioneer Girls is a Christ-centered club for girls in 1st–5th grade that encourages life lessons, skill building, friendship, and community.
Each grade level is led by a parent volunteer who coordinates the meeting schedule, typically gathering one to two times per month immediately after school. Meetings generally include a parent-provided snack, a lesson, and an activity or craft. Occasionally, leaders may organize an off-site service or volunteer opportunity.
In addition to grade-level meetings, there are four all-grade events hosted throughout the year.
The cost is $200 per girl for the year, and scholarships are available.
We look forward to a wonderful year of learning, growing, serving, and building friendships together!

First Communion Classes
The first time you partake in the Lord's Supper, you gain far more than just a new experience. You receive forgiveness in a profound new way, deepen your relationship with God, and partake in a foretaste of the heavenly banquet.
Classes will begin immediately following the 9:45 service Sunday: 9/20, 9/27, 10/4 & 10/11. Classes are designed for 5th graders and older. A parent is expected to attend each of the four sessions with their child. The classes will take place in the 7th-grade room and last about an hour each.
