Progress Reports will be sent home on Thursday, April 17th. With only five weeks left in the school year, please reach out to staff members with any questions or concerns.

Below is the schedule for end of course state assessments. Please make sure your child has a good breakfast, arrives at school on time, and gets plenty of sleep so they can show their best on theses tests!

We need your help! Please remind your child to bring their Chormebook with them everyday to school and to charge it every night. This will help students have access to all instructional materials and help with smooth classroom procedures.

Families that are in our student management system will get one-call notifications automatically. If you have other family members or community members that would like to receive notifications and information from the school please use the link below to sign up.

Simply click the Wilmington City Schools option listed under Other Schools and you want to select the building(s) of choice.

On April 29th students at WHS will be taking End of Course State Assessments. Because all grade levels will be testing on the same day, Seniors will not attend school on the 29th, however, this is not a ‘free day.’ Seniors will have the option to go on a college visit, job shadow, or research future careers in place of attending school.

Please complete the following form to verify your attendance for the day. This form will be available starting at 12:00 on Tuesday (4/29).

Seniors will be counted absent for this day if they do not submit the following form by 3:00 on April 30th. If your child wants to come to school on the 29th, they will be in study hall for the day.

We are happy to be able to provide this opportunity to our soon-to-be graduates of WHS, and hope that this time touring a college or job shadowing will help your child be one step closer to their next steps after high school.
